I felt the same way about Art School Confidential... although some of the stereotypes did seem to exist in art school (overall very disappointed though). Crumb is worth watching and American Splendor is pretty good film too. If you like those films, check out The Killer Nerd who is loosely connected to such interesting comic book artists. I think the documentary about Killer Nerd is on instant view right now too, its called Genuine Nerd. Thanks for your comment! and let me know what you think of any of the recommendations, if you have any interest in them... cheers!
Thanks Larry, he's a mutt, but we love him to pieces! Big, shaggy, and slobbery, the way we like him.
French? Great, maybe you could show me the rope. I am still a newbie in French film... I am a huge fan of Kieslowski, well he was Polish. I tried Malle and don't really get him. I have better luck with Truffaut.
Welcome to the Gay Cinema group, Larry. Please feel free to start or enter any discussion. Looking forward to seeing your comments. Love your avatar and favorite movies list. If I could find groovy goggles like that, I'd never take them off.
