I saw that you like Fushugi Yugi...me too! I ended up shelling out the big bucks to buy the entire series but it was worth it! Have you seen any other anime series lately? I'm currenlty working on Boys over Flowers.
I see that you added it as a photo, first, but it now also appears as you very own avatar! I'm glad you found one you liked and thanks for the avatarist site. If anyone asks me again, I'll send them there.
Sure, just "google" the word avatar! Once you find one you like - do the same thing I said below. Right click on the pix and choose to save as... Remember where it is saved so you will be able to path it later.
Next - go into your profile (on THIS page). You should see change MyPhoto under your picture right now. Click on it. Inside you will see a button for "Profile Photo" Click on that and it will ask you for the photo you want to upload. Once you tell it (path it on your computer) were the photo is you can upload it and then that photo will become your picture. If you decide you don't like it, you can do the whole thing again and change it.
Let me know if you need any further help and happy Avatar hunting.
Help is here. First we figger out what you wanna look like, to the board. I see from the groups you joined that you like war and star wars and or course retro-tv, so we can start there.
Try these: If any tickles your fancy, right click on the photo and choose to Save as... and put it on your computer desktop. Once you find an avatar I'll explain how to get it into your profile.
