I have the Season 2 DVD and I don't remember hearing ny different music. I haven't watched it in a while so I will try to watch it and the IW version to see if I can tell any difference.

I'm on a temporary haitus right now; I was roped back into a real job by a certain someone. But definately contact me when you're ready- Venture Bros would be fun.

How's business these days? I could use a good Venture Bros. costume for Halloween one of these years... :)

I guess what I was trying to understand is why a even newer form of distrobution than the DVD, whomever has the rights to the music would allow the original music for it and not for the DVDs. Like since it was a price gouging issue with the DVDs why…

That's at least twice this week with the nice, knowledgeable, helpful answers. You're only responsible for this one, Rachel, but you're on report.

it all comes down to legal rights for the music in question. If the studio has the right to release the music on DVD, it will. If the studio has the right to release the music for digital distribution it will. If whoever has the rights to the music…

Yes I'm talking about streaming. I've since then watched a ton more stuff streaming (aka IW or WI) and all of it has played normal. But for whatever reason the encodes of start trek season 1 are all messed up. Something wrong that is telling the pla…

DVD's? He's talking about streaming, isn't he..?

Well, to be fair, they supply the DVDs provided by the content owners. They aren't really responsible for technical issues with your equipment, unless you think the DVDs that don't display correctly are somehow defective. Any help they provide in th…

Out of the blue or perhaps it simply is an encoding issue or netflix end related issue they simply don't have teh proper technical staff to know it, watching the season in order episode 25 is properly fitting the screen rather than bars on all sides…

DOH! I didn't even think about scaling - forgot all about the initial setup when I connected my PC to my widescreen TV. This may be completely off base, but... I also have an nVidia card and (if I remember correctly) even the windows desktop showe…

I'm not sure how to get it to properly have those the correct way. Have you tried switching the ports (I mean physically switching the cables)? Might not be the "right" way to do it, but it might be the quickest solution, if it works. The resoluti…

There is a scaling option in the nvidia control panel that is new and it is set to scale maintaining the aspect ratio but this doesn't appear to be doing anything no matter what setting I choose scale to whole screen, scale and maintain ratio, let t…

Ok I think I may have something here. Windows is identifying the wrong displays. It says display #2 (the one indicated as 2 when clicking to identify) is labeled generic PnP monitor and that the TV set (not an HD set but an older tube set) is labele…

What software are you using to play the episodes? The software might be set up to display at the resolution that the video is at, not the resolution of your actual display. So if the resolution is only 640x480 and your resolution is higher, it will…

I don't think that can be the correct (or at least the complete) answer, since it's both on the TV and the new monitor: Problem is they are playing now with bars on all four sides on both the T240 and the TV I'd guess that it's a setting on the PC…

I'd wager a guess: the netbook's video driver handles a 480i input better (changing the aspect ratio to fill the screen vertically) than the widescreen TV (which likely has a 720p or better resolution, so that 480i input doesn't fill it up verticall…
