Generally usps around here, where I live, is great. I assume that a business the size of Netflix has problems like any other, and complaining about it in a public forum won't solve anything, I know. I dropped cable in favor of high speed internet an…
No, not suggesting they saved a cracked disc up for me; it was just odd that it came in a 3 in a row sort of fashion, which, of course adds to the impression.
I recall reading somewhere when i signed up, that yes, those with a lower cost plan get a…
I've noticed this recently too, as a "one at a timer''. Maybe it's just my paranoid imagination? This week it was a cracked disc received on Thurs.. Last week it was "lost in the mail" on it's way back. (But finally arrived.) I forget what the reaso…
Thanks folks. well, I checked another dozen or so...found no more problems.
The ones I found wrong were among the earliest I did.
And, thatboy, if I changed something on my edit page, AFTER I originally reviewed it, I suppose
that's a possible exp…
Once a star rating is assigned to your review it's static. It will not change on your review no matter how many times you change the rating on the movie's page.
I haven't seen it with stars, but sometimes if I edit a review the edit will show up on my review page before it shows up on the movie page.
Give it a day, and if it still isn't updated in both places call customer service so they can look into it.
i haven't really seen myself - once a long time ago my hubby rated a crappy movie really highly and i changed the star rating - it took a day or so to "correct" and show that.
Never noticed it. Are you certain you're not seeing other people's ratings on some of those pages? There are some pages that don't show what YOU rated, but the consensus of all ratings. And I'm sure it takes a long time for your 'click' to make it t…
50's, 60's 70's sci-fi, adventure, rock concerts, etc.
Arg! Blarg!
How does one use this flippin' site anyway? I haven't the time to go fannying about in all the dead ends. There's no help section. O.k., I'm clueless; BFD. I think I'll leave.

Oh boy, has it been a minute since i've been here. Sorry abut that, but i usually forget this place even exists! Anyway, i was just writing to see if you'd be interested in becoming my friend on Netflix? It's usually how i communicate with people on the website, and I'm a lot more often than i am here. Anyway, if your interested, write me back and let me know, or visit my home page on the website and invite me through my email address. Hope to hear from you soon, and, once again, sorry about the delay...
Phew, that's harsh, Rev., but hey Netflix isn't perfect. Personally, I'd be hard pressed to find anything to put on it if I were them. I don't know how good the screen resolution is with this new $99 converter box, but i watch on my 17 inch CRT monitor, and that sux for anything like a blockbuster movie. the resolution isn't there either. So I watch TV shows on it; stuff where you don't need a lot of detail. But yeah, it's frustrating trying to find something good. In a way, it's sort of like any kind of free sample on the web...not their best. Of course it could be a liscensing problem--the breadth of selections...
The watch it now section is trash and a come on from net-flix!!!! They want you to think you are getting something for nothing Marc-O Peace out --Rev!!!

Actually, I'm running out of things I'm familiar with, so I try to look at your recommendations, and others. Seems like I've only got a bunch of junk in my queue, and not much of substance. I just watched "Samurai Rebellion" which was good though. Plus I really don't think much of the selection in the "watch it now" section, so I kind of gave up on that.
I feel the same way about my reviews. Although, i do try to mix them up to give people, that go to my page, a wide variety of films to choose from...should they feel like it.

Yeah, my old Netflix nickname is still in the forum, I'm gonna have to figure out how to change it. I also drew the cartoon for the "My Photo" thing. I had a pic of a dog but it wasn't mine, so I switched.
There are other movies in my list of 50's sci fi. I should likely change that to "50's-60's big budget sci-fi".
(Although I think "Robinson..." was '60's.) I used to spend some time finding more like Robinson, back in the 1970's, when VHS came along and you could collect them off of the late show movies, etc.; because I wanted to know if there were more that I'd never seen, back in the '60's.
Tarkan was just nuts; it goes to show you what other countries do with Western media. But I think there was a government clampdown and those types of movies are no longer made in Turkey, and there used to be hundreds of them.
But thanks for the comment, I'll be posting a couple of new reviews soon. I just enjoy writing 'em...in fact I don't care if people don't like some of them, it's my opinion and I'm sticking to it (especially on Doctor Who, series 3). Thanks again!
Hey. I too don't come here often, but i wanted to thank you for the finding of Tarkan VS. the Vikings and also Robinson Crusoe on Mars. Your reviews were helpful, and those movies ROCKED! So thanks again, and keep up the good work ;0) P.S. Clever name, i dig it.
