There is a way to find the page number that you are on and to jump to specific pages, although it is more cumbersome now. Just look at the web address as it appears in your browser. Find the "&page=" string. That tells you what page you are on (the…
My conclusion is that it is due to a poorly written search algorithm in their censoring program. I have a feeling the search reads the "forbidden" words file and searches each submission, rejecting those that get a hit. So in this case it searched m…
Well, the fourth submission failed as well. So, I made the suggested word substitution and voila, it posted! I'll be talking to customer service again later today. That is ridiculous!
Assess is a perfectly legitimate word. I could replace it with evaluate, I suppose. But if that is it, then they are really inconsistent. I've seen other, more objectionable words in other reviews.
I've submitted it, unchanged for a fourth time, ev…
Well, I like the system that you propose, but I doubt Netflix will ever bother changing their current system beyond tweaking it. I actually didn't expect such an excellent tutorial. Really, I was just venting.

What I Snack on in Movie Theaters
My lip. I rarely eat when watching a movie.
About Me:
I enjoy a good story, or a story that has significance, as long as it is done well. I don't care for violence for the sake of violence and pretty much stay away from horror and tales of the supernatural. I do like the occasional fantasy (e.g., Big Fish, Tideland, Pan's Labyrinth, etc.). I like intelligent comedy, drama, foreign, and smaller, independent films. I love to read a good movie! I also like to write about the movies I've seen and try to write good reviews. If you've been wondering about my avatar: It's the corner of my living room where I watch most of my movies. My laptop is just visible in the lower right.

Wow, you are pretty busy on here! I haven't ever really dove into this ning site because I'm a member of a few others, but i do have a presence here if somewhat small :) Glad to see you here and make a new friend though!
Huh! Until I read your review for Blood Oranges, I thought "Mabell" was a woman. Don't be alarmed -- lots of people assume my Groucho avatar means I'm a guy.
Should be fun! I warn you though I'm currently writing lots of reviews. (Other times I work on my lists.) Has your ranking settled out? This morning I checked mine and it was 13 but soon afterwards it was back to 7 and still is. Weird.
Netflix will say they're adding people all the time -- but that makes no sense for why someone high would fall so low. Truth is we don't know why since Netflix won't say. Personally I think they're changing the math and there is a delay of a few weeks (it seems) in when calculations take effect.
Reviews do sometimes ghost away for a while, I think the server propagation during updates causes that. People notice that somewhat often, it's normal.
Yes to create a Save-only queue you'd need a profile other than your main one; it's easy to do. Can you see my Robowriter/Save profile? It's a fave under my main profile. I have nothing in the queue but Save titles -- even one Long Wait title can cause the profile to be skipped for disc shipping -- and yes you need to be on a plan or allocation that allows the Save-only queue to ship a disc. Cheers!
Look at your ratings comparisons more esp. his ratings which should compare with yours. Somewhere it says "You have xxx movies in common with a xx% compatibility." This is discussed in the Community too buy basically if I have 100 movies rated and you have 20 (all matching mine) you will have 100% with me but I will have 20% with you -- and if we mix and match stars among movies we have in common ... well you get the idea. It's complicated.
Send me a friend request here please (firewall prevents me sending you one). I appreciate your flagging WiLL to the community, I had no idea he was such a nutjob.
