The problem is more in the fact that you have no control over the way the picture is displayed. An SD stream is always stretched. It wouldn't look as bad if it was pillarboxed or zoomed. I have a 30Mbps cable connection, so it's not to do with that.
There appears to be just under 500 titles in HD.. A little paltry when you compare that to the tens of thousands of movies/TV available on DVD and BluRay to be honest.. But I managed to find a couple things in there to queue.
