I've recently realized that maybe I have been a little mean in some of my reviews. Just because I have strong feelings about what I dislike, doesn't justify or excuse my harsh face-slapping words to those who do like it. I have never liked condescending people and any hint of it is pompous and ugly. Having said that, I can still point out that I think something is of bad taste without belittling those who like it. It was never my intention to do so, but I have to admit that sometimes I try to co…

I'm glad to hear you liked Mulholland Drive well enough. Its one of my favorite Lynch films.
I've taken a short break from the world of serious cinema and I've been reliving my childhood via He-man & The Masters of the Universe animated series from 83'. Its been even more campy and funny that I had remembered.
Anyhow, Yes, check out 3 women, NF does have it and its a very unique film, similar to Mulholland Drive but older.
Movie wise, I'm always watching a ton of stuff.. My recent favorite is 3 Women.
and one film documentary I've been looking forward is Llik Your Idols. I'm a big fan of Richard Kern & Nick Zedd. I haven't seen the documentary yet though.

I think you should say whatever you need to say as long as you aren't harming yourself or anyone else - I'm normally fairly agreeable. As for conversations that bring change and honesty, that is quite an admirable mission. Art was definitely one form of communication for me that would initiate thought and dialogue.
Respect and courtesy are two qualities I always appreciate. You don't have to be modest to be respectful or courteous - in fact, you can be both confident and brilliant in your approach to the world but I do think there is a lack of respect for people based on social cultural reasons, classism, and agism.
So good for you... It sounds like you have a lot of ideas brewing. Now is as good as anytime to watch those ideas materialize.
And of course, those are just a few little pieces, I've made hundreds of prints and sculptures and whatnot. Lately I've been mostly working on graphic design work to pay the bills (and I enjoy doing it too but its a different enjoyment than making art for myself).
I like several of the bands you have listed, I'd love to finally hear something sometime. Thanks for taking a look at my artwork, hopefully it wasn't too forward of me to post a bunch of shit on your page. haha.
Thanks for your interest in my artwork and for your comments on my page. Its always great to chat with you here.
But honestly, that is like a tiny little list because I have dedicated a great deal of energy and time in learning about unique and talented individuals.
Personally, I work best in sculpture & printmaking but I've also worked with installation. Here's a bit of my artwork:
suburbia, mail art, 2003
Love With Tear Us Apart, sculpture, 2007
Black Bambi, Sculpture, 2007
Chief Cutesy, Sculpture, 2008
The Husky Hugger, Sculpture, 2008
Fake, Video Still/Print, 2008
NEW film entitled THE BOX from Richard Kelly, the director of Donnie Darko:
Cameron Diaz and James Marsden play the Lewises, young suburban parents who find a mysterious wooden box on their doorstep -- a box with the power to confer a million dollars on them at the push of a button. But the couple soon learns that pressing the button will beget the death of a stranger, leaving them on the horns of an ethical dilemma. Frank Langella also stars in this psychological thriller from director Richard Kelly.
If you don't mind foreign films (reading subtitles), try a movie called The Bothersome Man. I love it.
