I recently saw interesting movies along this genre, one is Nowhere In Africa and The Believer. Nowhere In Africa has a good storyline with subtitles. It's addressing the holocaust from the perspectives of those Jewish people who managed to leave Germany before it got worse. The Believer is a disturbing movie with Ryan Gossling. I don't think I can watch it again, but I am glad I did, very eye opening for me.
