PGDGM said… - to be honest i don't know much of anything about S. Darko. looking forward to seeing it when it comes out as I was a big fan of Donnie Darko but I'm keeping my expectations rather low as I don't see them recreating the magic from the first film.
As for the headless pirates....you know I really don't know too much about that situation. I caught a very brief run down on the news while waiting for tires to be put on my car one day. At home i never get to watch the news b/c the kids yell at me if I turn off the disney channel or nickelodeon haha. so i may not know much about current events but ask me anything you want about spongebob or mickey mouse clubhouse

- Yes. I have many friends in double and single digits. You'd probably recognize most of the names and avatars.
More reviews help but it's your friends who can queue from your reviews. You score the mother lode with they actually rent the movie they queued from your review. That means quality over quantity is the most important.. Quality and quantity of lists is also important. It's important to have friends and be a friend. People with mutual enemies tend to find each other.
It's good to have an easily recognized avatar. As you build a following in the general membership, an easily recognized avatar help these friends you don't know find you but it raises your profile.
The down side is, if you become a successful high profile reviewer, you'll attract those who can't stand to see someone else do well. They will attack your reviews with not helpful votes and unjustified flags.
It's not always good to be aggressive, prolific and obsessive. Netflix is a lawless place. Being better dosen't make you a winner and being an asshole doesn't make you a loser. Assume that, if you work hard, play by the rules and do well, organized trolls will crawl out of the shadows to hurt you.
I won't say how much damage has been done but, as long as the trolls put time and negative energy into trying to damage the work in my wake rather than competing with quality and a helpful, positive attitude, I'll continue moving onward and upward, Whether or not the trolls can stop you is up to you. Be careful what you wish for...

- True, it took place on water but they were shot from the ship. marines are stationed on ships. I just thought it odd. i feel that the pirate....with a head....would go back and reveal the horrors he was subjected to......no more American ships bothered....

glad you liked Death of a Ghost Hunter. One of the best horror flix i've seen in a while. i could recomend a bunch but not sure what your into (gore, creepy, cheesy, new, old). Let me know and I'll tell ya if I can think of anything good :-)

- Oh yeah......those poor silly "pirates". A couple of things I wonder about.....why Seal snipers? unless things have changed drastically, Marines are supposed to be the best in that dept. I'm thinking they didn't need the best...it was like shooting fish in a barrel. What a circus! Imagine how much the US spent on naval involvement in this little drams. Don't forget submarines and satellites.I think the surviving pirate should be punished by having to be interviewed by Bill O the Clown, then Glen Beck, Rush Limbaugh. Hannity, Lou Dobbs and finally Greta Van Susteren. Then, take the poor bastard and release him back to Somalia.
