That's okay.... NF community is something fun to do... afterall... we all have jobs, right??? I hope LOL.
Watching foreign films/subtitled requires practice. I remember when I started years ago, I thought I was going to have crossed eyes!!!! And you are correct... I still have to rewatch some of them because I miss some details while reading the subtitles.
Good to hear from you! Looking at your avatar.... do you travel a lot?
just watched it and added it to the discussion...isn't it amazing how much your perspective can change simply by watching a few short films...now how many of your friends will watch this and just dismiss it...and not because they can combat the science or provide a logical argument against it...but just because they just can't believe it...it's too "conspiracy theory"-ish...I can't change the world, but I'm glad that you can appreciate knowledge
It's amazing how much of our information is spun. After you watch these films, watch some of the films in my "green" post. There are a lot of similarities in terms of "conflict of interest", I hope this starts you off on further exploration into various topics...knowledge is power...and we are not as smart as we think.
Hi Atreus, welcome to the community!!! Saw in your fave list that you like The Lives of Others and Red.... those two are among my most favorite too. I am huge Kieslowki fan, and actually my most favorite of the Three Color Trilogy is Blue. Have you seen The Double Lives of Veronique??? It is an amazing movie. I saw it once, and need to see it again to digest it. To me that story is Kieslowski's political views about Poland and the Unified Europe.
Anyway, hope I will get to chat with you about some of these great movies.
