Watching foreign films/subtitled requires practice. I remember when I started years ago, I thought I was going to have crossed eyes!!!! And you are correct... I still have to rewatch some of them because I miss some details while reading the subtitles.

There are a lot of similarities in terms of "conflict of interest", I hope this starts you off on further exploration into various topics...knowledge is power...and we are not as smart as we think.

I am huge Kieslowki fan, and actually my most favorite of the Three Color Trilogy is Blue. Have you seen The Double Lives of Veronique??? It is an amazing movie. I saw it once, and need to see it again to digest it. To me that story is Kieslowski's political views about Poland and the Unified Europe.

Anyway, hope I will get to chat with you about some of these great movies.
