It's cool that you are kinda new to film enthusiasm - I've not yet considered myself to be an authority of any sort, but I guess I've spent enough time exploring interesting movies over the last few years that I do have a thought or two to share. I'm genuinely surprised at all that I've learned from watching and thinking about movies. But this community is amazing - I've never seen such a gathering of folks who like so many of the same movies that I do. Since I found this place I never use Netflix's "Movies You'll Love" section anymore - the suggestions that people make here are so much more interesting than the suggestions generated by their computer algorithms.

About Me:: Relatively new to film appreciation. Became interested a couple of years ago around Oscar time. I decided to watch all of the nominees for Best Picture to see if I agreed with the winner and I have been hooked ever since. I rely heavily on suggestions by community members with similar tastes to mine and have not been disappointed. I have really begun to enjoy foreign films and love being a member of that group! always interested in new friends! Also looking for a group interested in Drama in general.
