- I just finished Downfall, wow, it's already a horror classic for me. The way the followers are used as fodder for a mad man's designs. Hitler as depicted here possessed the desperation and selfish disregard of Jim Jones, the megalomaniacal aspirations of Dick Cheney, and an army of arm raising zombies, falling over each other in attempts to make him feel good about himself. Plenty of dismemberment in this movie, along with bravery, cowardice, and pathos. The acting was right on target to deliver the scary message; people will believe anything that is shouted loud enough and long enough. [even
