I enjoyed 3-Iron as well - have you seen Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter ... and Spring by Ki-duk Kim? Those are the only two movies I've seen by him, but both are very light on dialog and have Buddhist themes. I can't remember the different levels, bu…

I started to watch that on Watch Instantly a while back, but read some reviews that said it was messed up - sound sync / missing sound issues.

Paul W. S. Anderson and Paul Anderson are the same person.... well, except I don't think he had anything to do with Doctor Who: Season 2.

The film's story is an unmistakable take on the career of Primo Carnera, an enormous phenom in the 1930s, who rose to become heavyweight champion of the world, only to be savagely thrashed -- (he was floored eleven times) -- in his bout with Max Bae…

Could be a lot of movies, is it a comedy, do you remember when you saw it - what year/decade it came out? What About Bob?(1991) or maybe Envy (2004) come to mind

Saludos Amigos (1942) / Three Caballeros (1944) - I've been wanting to watch this for a while, mainly because I wondered who these other two birds were that were hanging out with Donald Duck and Goofy. Turns out that they aren't that interesting and…

About Me:
I've really got into watching more and more classic movies over the past couple of years. I've also been working on various movie lists, and recently finished (for the moment) IMDB's top 250 as voted by its users. Right now, I'm just casually working on a few other lists, and just enjoying each movie on its own.

I used to be big into video games, but I'm only a casual player these days. I still play a couple of MMOs, though and try to fit some time in to try out new games if I can.

I don't watch a lot of TV, but I do enjoy a few shows like LOST and I've been watching a few through Netflix. I also enjoy watching Pro Wrestling, but only TNA.

I do try to read, and I promise that I'm trying to read some books that everyone is supposed to. Unfortunately, I tend to get bogged down in most books, and takes me a lot longer than it should to finally finish.

I think that sums up my entertainment vices.

As a member of the "Reviews That Aren't Reviews", we would like to hear from you and to please give us your input, as we haven't heard from you yet, and in order to make it easier for everyone who is a member of the group, we need to put to a vote the following:

If you feel that 500 total reviews is a comfortable number to "swim through" when checking to see if a review is still on the original MDP, moved to another page or been removed then please vote that you agree. If you feel that if the total were less, and that would make it easier to contribute, then please reply with what you feel is a comfortable maximum.

Please link here for more information and to place your vote.

Thank you.

Hi Snorii
I suspect you'll find Mountains Of The Moon worth the view,, as long as a person doesn't go into period pieces like this trying to compare them to Lawrence Of Arabia ( although the Speak character does suspiciously like a Peter O'Toole stand in)ha,! I've been on a run of these type films of late/ Black Robe prior to this one and thinking of Terrence Malicks The New World and The Last Of The Mohicans next, anyways ,hope you like the movie Sayonara " C"
