Top Five Movies Starring a Hunk

We've named our "Top 5 Hunks", now let's put a hunk with a movie that we loved. My top 5 have to be:

1. Brad Pitt: Legends of the Fall
I have been a Brad Pitt fan for years, but he looked especially hot in this movie and the character he played was illusive and wild, making him that much more irresistable.

2. Edward Norton: The Painted Veil
Edward Norton played the proud, but wronged husband. I felt sorry for him and admired his courage during this entire story. Both feelings captivated me.

3. Ryan Gosling: The Notebook
The love scene in the old mansion between Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams was amazingly sweet and sensitive. Ryan plays the underdog, but you admire his determination and his spirit.

4. Orlando Bloom: "Pirates", especially #1

This guy is just plain handsome. I liked his kind of "strong, silent type" role in the Pirates' movies.

5. Viggo Mortensen: A Walk on the Moon
Viggo is younger in this unknown film and looked extremely good. He and Diane Lane have an enviable relationship. He played the part of a hippie-type, but somehow a responsible one. I found the dicotomy intriguing.

Match a favorite hunk with a movie you loved and tell us why they're your favorites.

I'm going to have to revise my list ... All of mine were from TV shows
Pierce Brosnan - Remington Steele
George Eads - CSI
Eduardo Verastegui - Charmed
David Borneaz - Angel & Bones
Clive Owen - Second Sight - BBC Crime drama

Yes Pierce & Clive were in movies but the other 3 have not been in any that were note worthy ...soooo list revised below:

Pierce Brosnan - Thomas Crown Affair (1999)he had the whole mysterious persona that made him ooze with steaminess. Although his Bond movies were just as excellent.
Clive Owen - Bent (1997) - Not one of the most popular or well known performances, but intrigueing all the same. He plays a prisioner in a WW2 concentration camp.
Billy Zane - Well IMO Billy is great in anything and those eyes make you want to drown in them - He was in Charmed as well :D, but this is movies so here is my pick for him - Titanic (1997)

Chris Evans - Cellular - I loved his performance in this movie, rather than the charismatic goof off in Fantastic 4

Lastly ...
Adrian Paul - of Highlander fame (yep another TV series), but his character of Duncan MacCloud in Highlander: The Source was the best overall that I have seen. His true nature overrode the impulse to ''know or possess'' The Source. Also he just gets my pulse 'Quickening'

Alright. I finally joined but only because I finally saw Duncan McLeod of the clan McLeod lol. Blast from the past! I was SO addicted to that show!!

I have to go with Tom Cruise in Top Gun as well.

I love Edward Norton in Down in the Valley. He's pretty ripped.

I've always preferred Brad Pitt in A River Runs through It.

And last but not least, Vincent Perez in Indochine.

Thanks for Joining in Immortal Beloved!! I loved A River Runs Through It. It falls right up there with Legends of The Fall I have not seen Indochine or Down in the Valley. They were added to our list.

1. Colin Firth - "The Girl with the Pearl Earring". The movie itself was pretty good, but man did Colin look so georgeous in that film, the best I've seen him.

2. Robert Downey Jr. - "Heart and Souls". One of those movies you never heard of, but it is one of my favs.

3. Orlando Bloom - "Kingdom of Heaven" and "LOTR". I can't decide. Both were awesome, and he was awesome in both.

4. Javier Bardem - "The Sea Inside". Now I can't say he was super hunky in this film, because he was a parapalegic and we don't get to see him move is hunkiness around, but the movie was brill.

5. Cillian Murphy - "Red Eye". His sexiest role.

Omgsh.
Red Eye made me laugh so freaking hard. Well, when Cillian got stabbed in the throat, that had me rolling on the floor more than anything lol. I'm laughing just thinking about it!

It was a good movie, don't get me wrong, but, that was just too funny.

ah yes colin firth-YUM, I first saw him in Sense & Sensibility ( think)
I saw Heart & Souls, I read the synopsis. That took place primarily on a street bus?
The Sea Inside was a great movie, and yes it didn't show his full hunkiness :)
Never saw Red Eye.

this is very hard, so here's my initial attempt:

keanu reeves - the matrix. he's emotionless so much of the movie, it's irresistible.

matthew macfadyen - pride and prejudice. again, the cold, emotionless guy. ok, this thing i have for this type of guy will now be known as 'the darcy complex'.

edward norton - the painted veil. i agree with you, MG, he was excellent in this film.

joaquin phoenix - signs. something about the hair...

viggo mortensen - eastern promises. this one is a little weird, i know. but he's just so good at pulling off a tough guy with a sweet voice. i don't mind that he's getting a little older. he was a force in this film.
