What do you think is the worst movie ever made and/or which one do you passionately despise the most?
The worst that I've ever seen is definitely Plan 9 from Outer Space, but I knew that it was supposed to be terrible going in. Bloodrayne is the movie that I talk bad about the most though, since I had never experienced an Uwe Boll masterpiece before.
Just Like Heaven. Wow, that Mark Ruffalo/Reese Witherspoon abortion should have never been greenlighted. I don't have the vocabulary to describe how god-awful that movie was.
Worst Film Ever:
I think, for me, it is a tie between PECKER and FACE/OFF. PECKER has one of the sloppiest scripts, mindnumbingly dull instead of shocking; and the actors bleat out thier lines as if they are reading them for the first time off a prompter card.
One guy on Netflix who has never been motivated to write any other review wrote: "The only saving grace of this movie is that it serves as the 0 end of the movie rating scale. Now if I see a movie that really stinks I say this movie was a real Pecker." -MB 1157582
Still, Nicholas Cage + John Travolta + John Woo = one whopping stinker of a film...
My favorite netflix critique of FACE/OFF reads: "I just couldn't get over the fact that Travolta has a head & neck like a Rhino, and Cage has a pencil neck & a little Rhesus Monkey head, yet they could seamlessly pull off this face switch." -rmy 555231
The worst movie (if you can call it that) I have attemped to watch is the recently released BEOWULF:Directors Cut. I made it through ten minutes and could not stand it anymore. Robert Zemeckis should be ashamed of himself.
Anything by Uli Lommel is sure to induce stomach cramps and lasting eye twitches.
Beowolf was pretty awful - my review: "This movie in HD-DVD format very much reminded me of video games my 9 yr old grandson plays on the same big screen TV. " None the less I still gave it a 3 star rating because: "...the first rate cast of actors managed to make the lame dialog come alive."
Ok, I haven't read through this whole thread yet but I gotta say one of the worst movies I sat through was Bullworth... remember, with Warren Beaty and the Fresh Prince's wife... That movie was awful. And yes I own a copy of it. Because it also happens to be the movie my wife and I went to on our first date... Why she went out with me again after picking that flick I'll never know!
And yes I agree with Meow Meow, Face Off was horrible and lame. So is just about everything else with the name Nicholas Cage in the credits, and Will Ferrell for that matter...
Another one that grates me is The Transporter!! THERE WERE TWO TRUCKS!!!! WHAT HAPPENED TO THE SECOND TRUCK!!!????? ugh....
Tiptoes has to be one of the worst; it was about a girl meeting her boyfriends family (or was that the other way around)and they were small people . It was not the subject matter that was bad it was the acting, the script , it just plain sucked. Oh and yes Sandlot two it was so bad and it was an insult to the original.
