okay so the other day me and my friend were reminiscing about old toys we used to have. my personal favorite toys EVER were C.O.P.S. toys from the early 90's
as i was perusing through other toy commercials from my childhood i started having flash backs to all of these toys and the cartoons they were based on. here are some of my other favorite toys i had as a child.
now i really wanna get me some battle beasts. so what are your favorite toys from this or any other era?
I basically had the normal guy stuff.
-G.I. Joe's both the small ones and the well let's face it the dolls.
-Legos, which I still will hope that kids have today just so I can play with them.
Then there was stuff like Ninja Turtles and Star Wars and even some Star Trex action figures, my money grubbing self today wishes I would have kept them in the packaging. No, that's not worth it. I loved playing with them.
Also, whatever came in my Happy Meal :)
i just ran across this new ninja turtles figure set released recently that are based off of the original comic art instead of the cartoon. i think they look pretty cool.
I had all the He-man action figures. My personal favorite was Scare Glow. He glowed in the dark and I figured out if you held him next to a light for a long time he would glow brighter.
at this years san diego comic con mattel released a new line of he-man toys. they look pretty bad ass. i wonder how many of the characters they're going to make?
There's another one that I can't remember the name of - they were just little non-posable figures of robots and stuff, but the cool thing about them was that they came in "garbage bags" that you had to dissolve in water. It turned the water sewer-green and was always a fun surprise to see which one you got.
