I also started rating more movies as Not Interested because there really is a lot that I'm not. I don't like the new way that doesn't allow the Not Interested button on a lot of the pages, but I found a few ways to work around it, for example - spongebob squarepants titles - which I don't care for - I'll click on one title, and then go to the actor/directors page and click all the way down from there.
I find that using the Not Interested button is very good use of the website, as it makes for a personal filter.
BTW, the link to your notebook page, doesn't work.
There's nothing to fix, that notebook page is only accessible to friends. How about copying and pasting what you wanted to share. Also, some genre pages have a list of titles that you can access the Not Interested button easier - here's one to see what I mean:
Since you mentioned the genre pages, I don't remember rating genres, but my genre ratings are filled up(and look accurate enough). What do you make of that? Does NF automatically rate genres based on the aggregate ratings of titles under x genre?
What do you mean by "your genre ratings are filled up"? You mean on the genre rating page, where you rate each genre/sub-genre? I only rated those that I'm 100% not interested in. I don't think NF automatically rates genres for you based on the genre titles that were rated. It could be because there are so many genres that are attached to each title.
Thanks for your input. A few hours later, I'm still surprised why my genre ratings are there. Must have been the other person I shared an account with a few years back.
I was not intentionally being testy, I was responding to a comment. I don't mind someone being competitive, but if someone else rates more movies, that's ok with me. I guess I'm not into the competitive part if it means being rude, sorry. I would rather say something nice or nothing at all. Thanks for the comment though! I guess we all have our opinions. No worries!
