Willie Nelson, speaking on the Alex Jones show, has just announced that he would be a driving factor in a new Farm Aid-type event that will focus on supporting Dennis Kucinich's efforts to impeach george bush. It will also be an anti-war event. This plan is literally coming together as I type. Willie has just committed to it.

Mr. Nelson also believes that the event could be used as a platform for those who do not believe the government's official story of 9/11 to speak out and let their feelings be known.

The event was conceived by a caller into the Alex Jones radio show just minutes ago who suggested that Willie back or organize the event as a way to take the efforts to impeach bush and advocate for a new 9/11 investigation, which is supported by the majority of victims' families, to the next level.

The venue will be either in New York City or in Austin, Texas. Both Mr. Nelson and Mr. Jones agree that the event should be held soon so that it can be used as a way to enhance Congressman Kucinich's efforts.

This is a developing story and is unfolding on air.

If anyone can pull this off and make the media pay attention, it's Willie Nelson.

Yeah, I'm way too flaky to participate in a serious debate. I don't even know where I got the idea that you made a personal attack against me. I must have just imagined it...

Anyway, I guess maybe I'm being way too literal, as the defition of conspiracy is "a combination of persons for a secret, unlawful, or evil purpose" so I don't see why anyone would take issue with calling it a "conspiracy theory" as it clealy is one. Am I wrong? That's the way I see it.

Err, well, I was mostly kidding about Ann Coulter, but she is pretty hot as far as the field of political commentators goes. She's like the hottest one that I know of! Not that there's really any competition. And I do dig her in-your-face attitude.

She's certainly no Taina Hernandez though...

Probably so. But since you put your cents worth in, let me ask you, do you know for a fact that the melting ice shelf is not a threat to humanity's well-being?

I will freely admit that I do not know for a fact that global warming spells man-made doom, but I recognize that there is more evidence for the case now than there was 30 years ago.

If all the fear that Gore promotes has only a slim, say 2%, possibility of being genuine, then we still need to tale a sane look at what we are doing, look for more sustainable ways of conducting ourselves, and maybe even slow economic growth a bit while we figure out whether or not we are doing irreversible harm.

Gore's willingness to act like a nut and bang a drum about these issues isn't doing any harm. In 100 years he may be regarded as we regard Cotton Mather or Carrie Nation. Or we may find him heroic.

The concert would end like Guitar Hero (whichever one) where a UFO snatches em' up and takes off

Just like an idiot rednecked boozing roach-toter...........

Waste a few million dollars on impeaching some dip who's only got a about 4 months left in office!!!!!

Maybe if he'd have put down the doobie, sobered up, and got his head outta his ass in 2000, it might have done some good.

Tinkles -- If we ended the Iraq war tomorrow, we'd be lucky if the bill totalled less than three trillion dollars!

And then there's all the bailouts required because Bush and the post-Reagan free traders decided long ago that whatever is expedient for business growth is "good for the country."

a million or three is nothing.

But we can't afford free K-16 public education, universal health care, to eliminate poverty, a decent mental health system or a mass transit/urban program for more sustainable living. $3 trillion for a bogus war and we're called unpatriotic. Incredible.

Ran across this on youtube and thought it would bring a little humor to this discussion. May be offensive to some and its not my opinion. Just funny

Oh Oh too many places I want to respond so I will hit the end. First up FL, guess what guys even if FL seniors knew what they were doing and had voted for Gore the electoral college can do just about whatever it wants to do anyway. We have had at least one president that was ousted even with the popular vote so I would have to say that Bush couldn't have "stolen" the election unless he influenced (or Jed) the electoral college. Which I fully admit is possible but if the electoral college made the choice it is legal period. I am sure he has done plenty of illegal or less than legal things, he is a politician and they have degraded to little more than thugs in fancy suits.

Gore included. Gore is on the furthest side of this green thing although for YEARS he was a complete and utter hypocrite over it and was one of the biggest polluters in the country but tell you to spend a fortune on greenifying your life. Green is a money issue for one. Yes global warming is real, and yes it happens on it's own without us. No I don't think we are helping things and yes we could do better to protect our own planet, and yes for sure we need alternative energy, but Gore is a Green Nazi. Extremist are not good in either way.

If you ever find a good politician you will find a non-successful one. Yeah I am probably jaded and a cynic but Gore vs. Bush, they both suck for very different reasons but they both suck.

Politicians are like prostitutes, you pay a little and they'll suck your dick and tell you what you want to hear, pay them a lot more and you can anally rape them and put your hand in their mouth and make them say what the world wants to hear.

We only get the government we demand. If the American people really wanted an entirely ethical government they'd have one. But the problem is that Americans aren't entirely ethical and neither is anyone else. The minute we stop expecting better behavior from or politicians than we expect from ourselves, we'll no longer be disappointed.
