Ok, does anyone know what's up with Netflix not having discs in what feels like a ton of series (11 on my queue alone)? They're clearly available and while Netflix definitely has problems with other films that are widely available (and apparently were available at Netflix in the past) they seem to really have problems with anime.
I mean, not just series either, but Vampire Hunter D and Perfect Blue are both MIA as well (though, at least Perfect Blue is available for instant watching if you can tolerate the dub).
I was watching Solty Rei and the skipped over disc 4,5 and 6 and sent me the next 3 down i have 2 queues so i took out everything else in that queue except the next and the say it's available now ok now let's see what happens
Belgand, do you know how long I've been trying to get them to get Vampire Hunter D:Bloodlust! Thank goodness some else noticed. Maybe if we all write in the same request for anime they will get it in for us.
I'm not even talking about Bloodlust. I haven't seen the original (which, unlike Bloodlust is actually in the catalog) and they don't have it in. What's next, no more Ninja Scroll? No more Akira? *GASP* No more Ghost in the Shell!?!? How will we relive the early 90s?
What the hell is going on!? Luckily I have all of the old school anime at home , but Netflix should have that available. I will have to file a complaint!
Ok I have just read the email yea sounds good to me but it will only work with netflix members I got a couple of people out side of our group the I can cajole into sending this and are we gonna send them all the same day and yes it might be good if we remove our group name that would be smart or most of our members will be waiting for their disc longer then usual
I would be very happy to send some repeated and repetitious insistent emails =) LOL I can also pas the word along =) happy to help. This is in a movie note from Phatz cool so far i have the #1 ranked reviewer helping
Nice to here Bubba, and yes I think it would be a good Idea to send them all on the same day. I was thinking sunday, just want to get a feel on how many people we can find. If we can't collectively get a hundred people I think it might be better to wait. So if we all find two people, then well 90 is still enough. I was thinking we would just send it once and see the response. If no response then we will just have continue collecting allies and keeping an updated lists of series that are missing. I'm not sure how much our reviewers rank count, but you never know, maybe it will make them take more notice. Good job my soulful southern brother.
Thanks I also just asked the creator of another group here he is an Anime fan it seems. Also i can get my brother and sister to send the email from their accounts maybe a couple of more
Also I think a constant and varied barrage of Email from different sources would be a good tactic to employ along with a mass mailing but that is something to consider
