For me (being a hippie and all) this was way more 50's than 60's. I had hair down to my butt, love beads, bell-bottoms and tie-dyed shirts. LOL

Did you buy into the 8-track phase? I'm sorry you can't view the video, it tells you that the average income was $4,743, the minimum wage was $1, the postage for first class was 4¢ and gas was 31¢ a gallon!

You're right about that, Robert. Hitchin' was the mode of transit in L.A. but it was not easy, except through the canyons.

Graduated from grade school in 1960 ...
Graduated from high school in 1964 ...
Discharged from the Air Force after 4 years in 1969 ...
Even this picture was taken in the 60's ...

But no ... I don't remember the 60's ...
