Atlantis cancelled, Stargate Universe green-lighted
This is the 5th and final season of Stargate Atlantis, though it will have at least 1 follow-up movie. The final episode will be in January. I believe the movie will also be in January, but not sure.
They have green-lighted a new show, Stargate Universe which will have a 2-hour premiere in "early 2009" and then the regular episodes will start in the summer.

A couple more tidbits.
The first Atlantis movie will be "later in 2009". I think that just means later than January.
From a gateworld.net article: In a recent post at his blog, the producer also noted that the number of Stargate movies produced each year will depend in part on scheduling. "I think that we could produce as many as three Stargate (either SG-1 or Atlantis) movies a year," he said. "Four is a long-shot, but very possible."
