Shows that only had one season or less, but should have lived on for years.
My pick would be Earth 2.
The story lines were well planned out and the characters were distinct.
I loved that it was not another Sci-Fi show that depended on
half-naked women and crazy space creatures that you only saw for one episode.
Wow - good call. Even my wife, who is a non-techie, enjoyed that show. We started watching it when is was on ZDTV, prior to the name change to TechTV. I miss Leo Laporte on television.
I'll add: Freaks and Geeks, which I never actually got the chance to watch while it was originally aired, and only found it online before the DVDs were released, which I snapped up immediately.
Sledge Hammer! had two seasons, but I included it because it never had a chance.
Season 1 it was slottted opposite Dallas and Miami Vice.
It was moved to a cherry picked slot for season 2, only to be upstaged by the first season of The Cosby Show.
In my opinion one of the best new shows this season that unfortunately was not picked up for a 2nd season. Another is Big Shots, but if I had to pick one to bring back I'd prefer Journeyman.
was definitely one of the best new shows of any of the 4 majors. I was really hoping that one of the cable networks would have picked it up (read Sci-Fi Channel LOL) I think it would have been a perfect fit for a lead in or out for Eureka or something like that.
