TV Shows that Never had a Chance

Shows that only had one season or less, but should have lived on for years.

My pick would be Earth 2.
The story lines were well planned out and the characters were distinct.
I loved that it was not another Sci-Fi show that depended on
half-naked women and crazy space creatures that you only saw for one episode.

Wow - good call. Even my wife, who is a non-techie, enjoyed that show. We started watching it when is was on ZDTV, prior to the name change to TechTV. I miss Leo Laporte on television.

I'll add: Freaks and Geeks, which I never actually got the chance to watch while it was originally aired, and only found it online before the DVDs were released, which I snapped up immediately.; ▶ Reply to This

Season 1 it was slottted opposite Dallas and Miami Vice.
It was moved to a cherry picked slot for season 2, only to be upstaged by the first season of The Cosby Show.; ▶ Reply to This

In my opinion one of the best new shows this season that unfortunately was not picked up for a 2nd season. Another is Big Shots, but if I had to pick one to bring back I'd prefer Journeyman.; ▶ Reply to This
