I would like to mention right after i posed this I found the... Wormhole Xtreme! ... The SCI-FI Forum

It looks promising. Though I still would be pleased to hear any suggestions anyone may have 8)

thanks for the list. Casshern especially looks awsome! I have not seen Sunshine or Children of Men yet either. I have seen most of the rest listed. Alien Nation, Logan's Run and THX 1138 are some of my favorites 8)

Definitely Nightwatch and Daywatch. The books are awesome and they changed the story a bit for the movies, but it still works really well. I'm not sure they are sci-fi, per se. More fantasy, but really worth the watch.

(1) Dr Seuss' 5,000 Fingers of Dr. T. Stars Tommy Rettig of the Lassie TV Show fame, and Vincent Price. Apparently, the real Dr. Seuss helped design some of the sets.

(2) Carnival of Souls--the 1962 version.

I thought The Devil's Backbone by Guillermor del Toro, who directed The Orphanage and Pan's Labyrinth, was very good. Ghost story thriller.

The Seventh Seal is one of my favorite Ingmar Bergman films and well worth a try by all, imo. Both Underworld films are worth a look to any Sci-Fi fan. If you've been turned off by the Batman movies and not seen Batman Begins yet, thats a very good watch. Equilibrium, The Prestige...Perhaps A Tale of Two Sisters and The Eye 2(don't need to see the first one to follow, not a true sequel).

If you liked Mononoke, you'll surely like Nausicaa. Castle in the Sky is a fun one too.

Also, Stardust is in the vein of Princess Bride.

Oh, and I bet you'd enjoy Gattaca!

Highlander Seasons 1 & 2 and Babylon 5 Seasons 1 & 2 are available to watch free on-line at

www.HULU.com

Firefly is available there also. Farscape was one of my faves for the first couple of seasons then I lost interest. But that happens to me with a lot of TV shows. I do better watching them all at one time on-line or on DVDs.
