What do you think is the worst movie ever made and/or which one do you passionately despise the most?
The worst that I've ever seen is definitely Plan 9 from Outer Space, but I knew that it was supposed to be terrible going in. Bloodrayne is the movie that I talk bad about the most though, since I had never experienced an Uwe Boll masterpiece before.
Thank goodness most of his movies start with the title "Uli Lommels" lmaooo...I made the mistake of watching Zodiac Killer and Ulli Lommel's Green River Killer ...I wanted to see just how bad he chopped up the story about the green river killer and it was really bad.....awwww
1. "Hatchet"- some obscure low budget "gore" flick
2. "War"- Jason Stratham and Jet Li --ugh...
3. "Million Dollar Baby"- most overrated oscar winner ever..someone please explain this one to me..?
The Passion of the Christ...an epic failure in storytelling. Set aside how you feel about the religious aspect of the story when you read this and just concentrate on how the story was told. The director expects us to already know the story (and he's not going to tell us!) before we arrive at the theater and chooses instead to focus on 90 minutes of torture porn. It would be like asking theater-goers to already know the story to Labrynth and then focusing on the bog of eternal stench for 90 minutes instead.
gonna have to agree with you on this one. the greatest joke hollywood ever played was getting the entire religious right to line up for this, then go nowhere with it. if the object of the torture had been anyone else, there is no way this film would have ever been shown outside of a grindhouse.
on a side note, at least the bog of eternal stench had comic relief. and puppies.
It's not even enjoyable to watch and make fun of. I feel like I was tricked into the theater and insulted for an hour and a half. It really covers the spectrum of bad: mediocre plot, random unfunny comedy (meat suspended from string throughout his parents house?), stretching a single joke to the point of unfunny (the joke the movie is named after), reprehensible gross comedy (the birthing scene & licking a protruding broken bone after a skateboarding accident), and worst of all - it's mostly unmemorable.
Thank you Thornton, I was wading through 30 pages of this thread just so I could be sure someone had to have named this movie before I got to the end. This is one of the few movies that I have reached a point of becoming violently angry watching, and had to turn it off, and I will sit through anything just to see it to the end.
If I ever see Tom Green walking down the street, I am sure that I will suddenly wake from a blackout to a formidable group of policemen pulling me off of a gloopy red smear on the concrete.
A close second for me is Osmosis Jones. Overall, I tend to resent mindless fart humor which always seems like a cheat, and a way to avoid putting any effort at all into comedic writing. You see this sort of nonsense in titles like Date Movie or any of Rob Schneider's crap like The Benchwarmers which both resulted in aggressive irritation as I suffered through them.
Punch Drunk Love. An absolute disaster from the director who gave us two masterpieces: Boogie Nights and There Will Be Blood. What was the point of this film? To show Adam Sandler can act in something besides pure comedy? Try again.
I somehow managed to watch the whole movie but I couldn’t tell you how I mustered the strength to do so. Awful, just awful! I’m tempted to say “worst movie ever” but I haven’t seen every movie ever made so I’ll resist the temptation.
Gwendoline (AKA The Perils of Gwendoline In The Land Of Yik Yak) was bad too but in a good sort of way,…Classic!
