About Me:
European work, fun, and family experiences abound.
I loved Munnabhai-- the second one (Lage Raho) even more than the first. Dhoom 2 is good for what it is: eye candy. If you like Aish or Hrithik you'll like it, or if you're into action movies. but it's not that excellent. Did you see Jodha Akbar? That's quite good. And Metro as well. Also Swades...
Hey there! I've been "Away" for awhile, but I wanted to let you know about Omkara, a BW movie I just watched. It's an adaptation of Othello and its great. If you're still watching Bollywood, check it out!
Oh thanks. I decided to put those photos here too. It was Mr. T who started on a thread about your favorite getaway vacation spots or fantasy vacation spots. I am a big dreamer... so I dream huge. I told him... along with these places I dream of visiting, I also dream about a "bottomless bank account"!!!! Sweet...
Sorry Fleet, didn't mean to stand you up there.... I was hungry when you started talking about Tandoori dinner, so I left the computer and went to the kitchen.... he he he.... then I got distracted with food and all.
I looked around on the internet and found Volume 1 available on Amazon but Imdb shows 18 episodes for Season 1, airing in 1955 and 1956, and Vol. 1 & 2 only have 8 episodes between them. I put in a title request to NF for Volume 1 but I don't know if they have to have a certain number of requests before they consider a title. Imdb also shows a silent version done in 1917. Do you know anything about that one?
I'd love to see the London play! That must have been wonderufl!
NF just recently acquired an old British TV series from 1955 that was weekly episodes of The Scarlet Pimpernel. (Actually, they've only acquired Volume 2 - 4 episodes). I was unaware of these and was thrilled to see them. They're great fun. I thought I'd pass this on in case you were also unaware of them.
