001- Tigrero: A Film That Was Never Made

In the 1940s, director Sam Fuller dove deep into the jungles of the Amazon to film what he hoped would become a John Wayne classic. There, he got to know the Karaja Indians, who generously allowed him to make his movie in their community. Joined by groundbreaking helmers Jim Jarmusch and director Mika Kaurismaki, Fuller relives the challenges he faced during that time and ruminates on his life as a filmmaker.

002- Map of the Human Heart

Two men -- an Inuit named Avik (Jason Scott Lee) and a mapmaker (John Cusack) -- compete for the affections of an alluring and mysterious woman, Albertine (Anne Parillaud). Their battle for supremacy perseveres even in the face of illness, war and other major obstacles. Co-stars Patrick Bergin, Clotilde Courau and Jeanne Moreau.

003- The Incredible Hulk

Edward Norton stars as Bruce Banner in this version of the classic comic book tale about a doctor who searches for a cure for his exotic condition, which causes him to transform into a huge green monster when under duress. Drawing closer to finding a remedy, Dr. Banner becomes sidetracked as he's pursued first by the military and then by a rival monster known as the Abomination. Liv Tyler, Tim Roth and William Hurt co-star.

004- Feast of Love

Set in a small, idyllic Oregon community, veteran director Robert Benton's (Kramer vs. Kramer) charming ensemble drama features different lives intersecting at a coffee shop as they explore the depths of love and loss, joy and pain, and everything in between. Based on the popular Charles Baxter novel, this touching tale stars Morgan Freeman, Greg Kinnear, Selma Blair, Radha Mitchell and Billy Burke.

005- Red

Krzysztof Kieslowski strikes again with Red, the final film in his "three colors" trilogy. In this meditation on the need for passion and human connection, an accident brings together two very different people -- Valentine (Irene Jacob), a model, and Joseph (Jean-Louis Trintignant), a retired judge. Since love chooses to pair people at random, theirs becomes a fated, deeply improbable, but true romance.

006- .hack//Roots: Vol. 2

This disc includes the following episodes (6-10): "Conflict," "Intrigue," "Starting," "Melle" and "Missing."

007- Elizabeth: The Golden Age

Reprising her Oscar-nominated role from 1998's Elizabeth, Cate Blanchett is once again at the head of the cast as the Virgin Queen (earning her another Oscar nod) in this Shekhar Kapur-directed sequel to that film. Focusing on the queen's tempestuous relationship with the adventurer Sir Walter Raleigh, the film also stars Clive Owen (as Raleigh), Geoffrey Rush (as Sir Francis Walsingham) and Samantha Morton (as Mary, Queen of Scots).

008- Deadwood: Season 2: Disc 4

This disc includes episodes (8-10): "Childish Things," "Amalgamation and Capital" and "Advances, None Miraculous."

009- Birds of Prey: The Complete Series: Disc 1

This disc includes the following episodes: "Pilot," "Slick," "Prey for the Hunter" and "Three Birds and a Baby."

010- Mamma Mia!

Based on the international hit musical featuring the songs of pop superstars ABBA, this charming tale centers on a bride-to-be (Amanda Seyfried) and her plan to uncover her father's identity by inviting three of her mother's (Meryl Streep) former lovers to her wedding. Produced by Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, this big-screen adaptation also stars Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, Stellan Skarsgård and Christine Baranski.

011- La Strada: Special Edition

Italian auteur Federico Fellini helmed this powerful rumination on love and hate, the Academy Award winner for Best Foreign Film in 1956. This restored version (introduced by Martin Scorsese) tells the story of gentle Gelsomina (Giulietta Masina), sold by her mother to the bullying circus performer, Zampanò, with whom she falls in love. When a clown, Il Matto (Richard Basehart), wins her heart, a doomed love triangle inevitably develops.

012- In Good Company

An ad salesman, Dan (Dennis Quaid), must take a junior position after a corporate shakedown. Worse, he now reports to a much-younger boss, Carter (Topher Grace), a business school grad who espouses a sales approach branded Synergy that's at odds with Dan's old-school style. Although they don't see eye to eye, the two must get along, a mandate made more difficult when Carter becomes smitten with Dan's daughter (Scarlett Johansson).

013- Northern Exposure: Season 1: Disc 1

This disc includes the following episodes: "Pilot," "Brains, Know-How and Native Intelligence," "Soapy Sanderson" and "Dreams, Schemes and Putting Greens."

014- Le Samourai

A little bit gangster film, a little bit samurai flick, this 1960s French masterpiece from Jean-Pierre Melville introduces the memorable anti-hero Jef Costello (Alain Delon), a contract killer with the instincts of a Japanese warrior and the features of Adonis. After offing a nightclub owner, Costello has two big problems: his double-crossing employer, who now wants him dead, and the dogged police investigator who's determined to rein him in.

015- .hack//Roots: Vol. 3

This disc includes the following episodes (11-14): "Discord," "Breakup," "Tragedy" and "Unreturner."

016- Mrs. Henderson Presents

Having already cultivated an offbeat reputation among high society in 1930s London, Laura Henderson (Judi Dench) embarks on her newest adventure: the transformation of an old movie theater into the Windmill, a space that will host, of all things, a nude musical revue. Members of her social circle don't quite know what to make of Mrs. Henderson's controversial enterprise, a shocking venture that has everyone up in arms.

017- I Vitelloni

Federico Fellini directs this tale of a group of young men who are in no hurry to leave their small town. Funded by their families, Fausto (Franco Fabrizi), Leopoldo (Leopoldo Trieste), Alberto (Alberto Sordi), Riccardo (Riccardo Fellini) and Moraldo (Franco Interlenghi) enjoy days of frivolous fun, but not without apprehension: Are they missing out on all that life has to offer? Eventually, one of the men breaks out of his self-imposed routine.

018- Yana's Friends

The Gulf War serves as the backdrop for this drama set in 1991 Israel. Yana (Evelyn Kaplun), a pregnant Russian woman, is abandoned by her husband and left to share an apartment with their roommate, Eli (Nir Levy), a voyeuristic wedding photographer. Attracted to the tumult of Yana's life, Eli trains his lenses on her and finds himself falling in love with his subject.

019- Il Posto

This Italian drama mines the rich possibilities in the life of a recently graduated man who strikes out for Milan to land a job. Starting out on the bottom rung of the corporate ladder as a messenger in an industrial conglomerate, he nevertheless aims for the top. The cast features Loredana Detto, Tullio Kezich, Sandro Panseri and Mara Revel.

020- Fanny and Alexander

Director Ingmar Bergman's autobiographical drama, the 1984 Best Foreign Film Oscar winner, depicts a family in crisis after its lively patriarch, Oscar (Allan Edwall), dies unexpectedly. Desperate to provide stability to her children, Fanny and Alexander, the widow Emilie (Ewa Froling) marries a minister, but their new life proves to be foreboding and lonesome. It's up to their grandmother (Gunn Wallgren) to infuse joy into their existence.

Hey John, you know the funny thing is that I watched Barry Lyndon the day before (well, it actually took me two days), and I loved it. I really made a connection with Lyndon and never got into The Ruling Class so much -- though I can certainly see why lots of people dig it. I can't help but thinking that part of the reason is how bizarre O'Toole looks in his Jesus get up. Good to hear from you!
