Well, I tried it again & it looks like I'm a friend now :)
I have been going through your reviews and voting +helpful, (I'm only up to page 20 so far) they actually are quite helpful for me b/c you review a lot of what for me are 'on the fence' films... but it seems we have pretty similar sensibilities. So whether you liked/ didn't like it is a good indicator for me as to whether I should watch it.

Oh, I thought maybe you changed your mind because I used your 'auto' friend link to add myself the other day... but then I didn't see you anymore on my friends list.
I'll do it again - my name is Gamin in case you're wondering "Who's that?"

I liked your review for Wild Side (voted + helpful). It looks like all of us are saying the same thing, hopefully Netflix will take notice & get the right film!
Re: the directory site, we have made a clear set of step by step instructions on how to set up your own portal . this link can also be found on the main page.

Here is a link to the main page which is still pretty rough but gives a basic outline to what we are doing.
http://dorkycool.ning.com/
This page
gives a draft of how specific groups may fall into the genres -but it is really up to each genre administrator to decide how they want to organize/design the page.
So basically just come on over and join the Network, and once you have an idea of how want the Independent directory to look, turn your personal profile into the genre profile.
We look forward to seeing there (As soon as i see you I'll upgrade you to admin) :)

I wanted to let you know that some of us have been working on, DorkyCool, a new & improved way for creators to promote groups, for users to have a user-friendly way to find groups, & to keep redundant groups from being created. Basically the new & improved Mother of All Groups.
As a group creator, I thought you might like to be in charge of the genre-profile for independent films...
You are welcome to join us, help with design, or just share any ideas or suggestions you might have.
Hope to see you around :)

And I agree that "Lovign Annabelle" was a really badly made film. But, I think Erin Kelly was semi ok in it.

A Question: If you have "friends" who never post, write reviews, do anything, is it OK to drop them to free space for more active "friends"? Film Grrrl wants to know!

Interesting, I had you as a friend on NF, but not here. Anyways, I've been enjoying Sapphic cinema (am I using it correctly? Sorry, have only recently heard the term), so I figured I'd ask an expert for recommendations. I would prefer WI because I can just load them in my comp, and, more importantly, my queue is completey full at the 500 limit (Ughr: restrictions restrictions). Anyways, don't go out of your way if you are busy! You can send me notes, a list I should check out, and email: wahtever is easier for you. Thanks!
