About Me:: although movies brought me to this scene, they are only a small part of my life. it seems nowadays i have my fair share of things to do (between a husband, two young boys, and my work).

my favorite genres are horror, psychological thrillers, crime dramas, and anything with dark humor. since i joined this community, i have found my tastes changing gradually and my preferences have broadened. this is a good thing.

i don't do well at listing favorite movies. among the top of the pack would be The Usual Suspects -- for both the obvious reason (excellent story-telling) and the unobvious reason that i am a huge fan of kevin spacey, who IMO steals every scene he is in.

I've been doing okay. I'm actually not looking forward to the holiday "season". I guess you could say I'm a big of a bah humbug type person. It's just all so blown out of proportion these last two months. It's really stressful. I'm already starting my coundown to January! :)

I bought REC from someone on Ioffer.com. Its a copy of the original but heck its the same as watching the original lol. I just wanted the movie. I didnt care if it was a copy or not. since it was a copy i only paid 5 bucks for it. lol

But i find the ending was scarier in REC. Its the same ending but the way they made the person look was just five times scarier than the "monster looking person" in quarantine.

I been doing good. Trying to keep up with my movies finally. I took a little break to watch some TV shows but as usual the fall TV season is pretty disappointing. If you have any good recommendations, send 'em my way. :)

I have seen quarantine and i loved it. I will be recieving REC in the mail sometime this week. Once i watch it i could let you know which one i think was better of if they are both about the same.
