Asia Argento and Michael Madsen star in this erotic thriller which follows the convoluted romance between a pimp and one of his former prostitutes, a relationship further complicated by her additional love triangle with two drug dealers. In an intimate exploration of his characters through an unflinching lens, director Olivier Assayas revisits his signature themes of espionage, intrigue, big business and sex.

Cubicle worker Bob (Christian Slater) is a resentful outsider who's started carrying a gun in case he gets up the courage to use it on some of his co-workers. But when one of those co-workers starts shooting, Bob guns him down and becomes an inadvertent hero. Bob's newfound popularity makes him uncomfortable, even as he grows closer to Vanessa (Elisha Cuthbert), who was badly wounded in the shooting. William H. Macy co-stars in this quirky drama.

A despondent girl named Adele (Vanessa Paradis) is about to take a swan dive off a bridge into the Seine River when she's rescued by Gabor (Daniel Auteuil), a knife thrower who needs a human target for his show. The luckless Adele agrees, and together the pair thrives, winning a fortune gambling when not performing their act. But fate conspires to separate the duo, who find they need each other to maintain their lucky streak.

Up-and-comer Max (Vincent Cassel) abandons his fiancée to pursue an ex-girlfriend in Gilles Mimouni's tangled romantic mystery. Obsessed with the possibility that his lost love, Lisa (Monica Bellucci), is really his soul mate, Max breaks into her apartment and becomes entangled with her look-alike, Alice (Romane Bohringer), who just happens to be dating Max's best friend. Meanwhile, Lisa is stalked by her rich -- and possibly murderous -- lover.

In the wake of a tragic accident, the body of 16-year-old Samantha Marris (Olivia Thirlby) serves as a resting place for her dead mother's lingering spirit (Lili Taylor), drastically shifting the dynamic between the teen girl and her still-grieving father (David Duchovny). Swiss-born director Vincent Perez makes his English-language debut with this supernatural drama based on the Japanese film Himitsu.
